You've put a lot of effort into this and have uncovered some important information. I haven't seen any issue like this with the Thru channel. If I have any more ideas, I'll pass them on but, at the moment, it looks like there is something that's just not doing the job correctly. I'm sorry that my suggestions haven't helped.
