I agree with fiddler. ASIO4ALL would be worth trying. It's freeware and you can get it from the below link.

While I run BIAB using MME as the audio driver most of the time, when I want to record, I switch that audio driver to ASIO4ALL. This does help lower the latency.

A word of advice... when installing freeware, watch for other programs that often tag along and say no to those. I always use a 'Custom' install to make sure that nothing else is attached. The last time I installed ASIO4ALL, it was just the solo program. I'm not sure if that is still the case today.

Once ASIO4ALL is installed, it will be listed as an audio driver in BIAB. (You may need to exit BIAB and restart the program to pick it up.)
