The late Gore Vidal described "politics" by dividing up the syllables thusly: “poli-”, a Latin word meaning "many", and "-tics", meaning "bloodsucking creatures" . Listening to "TURN IT UP" was like switching on my radio and just happening to tune into a real "jam". Your lead guitar is dexterous and sweet, the vocals are fresh and upbeat, and the Real Tracks arrangement makes it all sound like a party is goin' on. So, you wanted to "put up a happy tune"?
