I had hoped that the Celtic Styles in Band-in-a-Box 2019 would include the Uilleann Pipes. They would be such a great addition ! Are there any plans for adding them ?

mmmmmmmm, maybe the problem is that the drones on the pipes - unlike scottish bagpipes - can be played at different chords/bass notes but i think the keys they can play in are quite limited and the chords very simple.
so playing over chord changes for a real track would be difficult. however i'm not an expert on the pipes but i'm sure they are quite limited in their ability to play as a harmonic instrument with other players
years ago i played in folk clubs and can only remember pipers like Finbar Furey playing solo or maybe with a guitarist. i remember the McPeakes too and i think the pipes always played on their own.

This is just a rough test with Uilleann Pipes, it has the drone in one channel and notes in the other so you can pan it. You could have the drone (as a drum so it don't transpose) on a separate track and the playing on another. It's 110bpm with 2 bar count, 48bar playing in D and a 4bar ending, so just load it in a 48bar demo song set to D and 110 tempo, or name it to the same name as the song.sgu then open the song.sgu. https://www.dropbox.com/s/67ojttxia6rr9wk/_FORFAR%20KeyD%20110bpm%2048bars.wma?dl=1

Nice ... sounds more like a wee bit out of tune sweet Northhumbrian Smallpipes to me, i know, had a set 20 years ago. Uillean pipes sound quite meaner.
Listen to Dennis Burns' (Boldersounds) set, alas sampled without regulators.
PS One computer trick is add some subtle volume changes, maybe with slight frequency shifting, to the drones, related to the pump and haul elbow force etc. F

That was Studio Piper, I could maybe make up some usertracks like that demo in different keys or separate drone key tracks and notes playing over chords on other key tracks.

About user tracks creation: to me still some wild horse to ride. Tried messing with it a few times with some unpredictable results, as non-computer nerd LoL. But you're in luck; pipe drones are stuck on only one note, what ever the key.... saves time. Now can yo do that with any usertrack.

That's why I was trying to chord out one of the RealTracks and replace it with a usertrack, this way you would not have all the usertrack limitations and problems.
With the usertracks you can get them to work by creating the tracks in keys and setting it to a drum in the options.txt:
Drums=True ; (if true, no transpose. tip: this is automatically set to true if the usertracks folder name contains "Drum")
DrumsButThereAreNoFillsOrPostFillsInThisUserTracks=True ;(set to true if the usertracks has no fills or postfills to begin with)
ForceSimple=False ;(e.g. set to true to force a simple drums usertracks, which will never play the fill bars)
