It would be great if there was a place where I could lookup a known recorded song with a style I like, and then find a comparable style in Band in Box.
For instance, lets say I am doing a ballad with a feel like "Try a Little Tenderness" by Otis Redding. It would be fantastic to just look this up in a database to find compatible BNB styles.
I find myself hunting way too much for BNB styles.

It seems like they have really added a lot to the database in the style picker, so it is evident that PG is working in this area. Hooray! Thanks, PG.
My only other comment is this list could be user supported.

Greg, as I think you found out, they have enhanced the searchability and you can find a song name or an artist, which often gets you pretty close to a style that would work. As far as 'user supported', there is a forum for that where users can submit ideas of songs to be included in the database; it's right under this one, here: https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=100&page=1But if you are looking for an online database or a PDF that can be sorted and searched, then +1

I signed in today to create a new post on the database forum requesting an on-line version. I did due diligence to make sure there wasn't an existing post first. Looks like I found one here.
My request may be similar - to offer an online style picker allowing one to enter a song title or other details and the style would be reported along with a pack (or packs) that would match. Something that would help one know if they already have the style in their collection or could guide if there's an expansion pack to purchase. Also, if one was coming in from the outside thinking about purchasing - they could enter some tunes they're kicking around having BIAB as backup and get an idea if those tunes have "plug and play" styles that would match - subject to the completeness of the database.
Another benefit of the database would be it would be helpful to use an online database to double-check if tunes are already there vs. firing up the software for those active in the database suggestion section.
EDIT: looks like my sig is old - it's been a while since I've posted in the forums. I've had version 2018 all last year and now have version 2019 - whatever the latest build is.
