Using Nashville notation, BIAB has always required the m or 7, etc., after the numeral.

Thus, while 1, 6, 2, 5 from a classical theory perspective is interpreted as C, Am, Dm, G (in the key of C major) or Cm, Ab, Dmb5, G (in the key of C minor), in Nashville notation (which BIAB uses naturally if one wants to type chords using numerals), 1, 6, 2, 5 would be C, A, D, G.
