re 64 bit.
yes i figured you (and zillions of other musicians includeing myself)
are excited by the large mass memory aspect viz orchestras n sample libs etc etc.
(as an aside i once worked yonks back on a bit of OS stuff.)
but personally i'm staying behind the curve a bit.
yes many are rushing out device drivers for the new environment.
but even assuming well done low latency device drivers.
there are other considerations.
one being the underlying hardware pc architecture itself.
for many musicians it will mean often a new pc with particularly
excellent processor and memory and drive performance.

i personally am waiting for another round of development in the pc
architecture itself. which is what i feel is needed to do things right.
its still early days i feel. particularly when i hear stories of certain
sample libs that can bring a system to its knees.
in summary i feel nirvana is coming..and the trend is obvious.
but its gonna be costly for many musicians who often cant afford it.

i note you have 64 bit synths.
i look at biab conceptually as roughing out the song idea.
trying out different approaches etc n roughing out bed traks etc etc.
nothing to stop you dropping the biab traks into a appropriate daw
n loading up your 64 bit synths.
a question...what is your system ??
an i7 ?? older ??
