After looking at Noel's information, that is correct.

Bass, Electric, CountryDrivin8thsA-B Ev 150
Soft electric bass tone playing driving country-rock patterns over A and B substyles: steady 8ths during A, and rock'n'roll style arpeggios during B.

Steady 8th's on the A part and Arpeggios on the B part. That is exactly what I hear on my demo song.

I did a search on AlternateFolderNames and found 476 directories that have the file AlternateFolderNames, thus are pointing to another RealTrack in a different directory.

What a bummer. I feel cheated. Paid for all these RealTracks over the years only to find out that all I got 476 was empty directories with a text file that says go 'go somewhere else if you want to play this song".

Just kidding. I do see the logic behind the system and learned something in the process.

Thanks for the research Noel.

But keep in mind that this does not explain why Frogman is getting silence on his song, unless his AlternateFolderNames.txt file is either missing or corrupt.

I would suggest that Frogman check the text in both AlternateFolderNames.txt files for RT's 1692 and 1693 and make sure they show the following:

Bass, Electric, CountryDrivin8thsA-B Ev 150

As an experiment, I renamed the extensions for both RT's 1692 and 1693 to .textt, reloaded the song in BIAB and got silence on both the A and B parts (because the pointer text file that tells the song to go to RT1691 is missing). When I renamed the both back to AlternateFolderNames.txt in both RT's 1692 and 1693, the songs plays normally.

And if I purposely misspelled the word BASS to BAS in each one, there is silence on the bass track when the song plays, which I expected to happen.

Correct the spelling and it plays normally for both A and B tracks.
