I'm guessing the lyrics were written onto more that one track, and deleting 3 of the tracks after the import wasn't enough. The solution may be to only import one channel in the first place, not import them all and then delete tracks after the import.

Ok, thank's for stepping in Kent.. But how to import only one channel of a multi channel midifile? I tried the only way I could think of, importing chord from midifiles and then select only channel 1 to be imported to the melody track, but there is still 4 double words, so that did not help.. Is there any other ways to import only one channel? Anyway, I think I just upload this particular midifile to my dropbox and post the link here, so that also Mike and others that want to have a look at it can also do..
