When you click Melody - Edit Melody Track - Import Melody from MIDI File, the first thing you're asked is which channels you want to import.

Yes ok. As you can see from the pics lyric events occur once for each of the 4 tracks as I suspected. In the top pic you can see these as little sticks under the midi notes in track view on all 4 tracks.
In the next pic you see in the events list that the same lyric event is on all 4 channels.
The one I think you are most likely to want is the one for the Soprano part.
So that you don’t loose the notes for the other parts I will try and remove the lyrics from the other 3 tracks and post back an edited file link later today. Regards Mike
The reason your file is like it is, is because it is a 4 part choral arrangement. Each part, soprano, alto, tenor. Bass has its own but the same lyrics set against different pitch notes. The actual midi voices used is choir ah in all cases making one big 4 part choir sound. I am looking for a way of removing all lyrics but the soprano ones and still leaving the midi sounds in place to complete the choir just deleting the other tracks would make it sound thin (all soprano) Finding a way of doing this in bulk instead for each word at a time on all the unwanted lyrics in the other 3 tracks is proving to be a problem but leave it with me I enjoy the challenge. Mike, you should be the HEAD of problem solving ! Wow, awesome job man.. I guess you also gave PG-Music a challenge now, to PERMANENTLY fix the code in .kar/.mid files import, since it is actually NOT the midi files it self that is the problem, but how BB handle this kind of lyrics in midi files, since OTHER software, even free ones, have no problem reading it and display it correctly... Thank's for the job ! Well done...
