I think the language is Hungarian.They sound very good.

There is currently a lot of discrimination affecting the "Gipsys" in Europe in general and especially in Italy and France. Because of this, there is less Gipsy music being performed than normally would be the case.

I have passed many pleasant evenings in piazzas all over Europe having a drink listing to Gipsy music in several languages.

While not Gipsy, this is in France with French musicians and Fairuz singing in Arabic. I was introduced to her by my wife who is from East Beirut, Lebanon.
