I have spent a lot of money on software. Several thousand over the last two or three years. None of it would I want to send back to get a refund. But,BB and a program called TrueFire have been the most exceptional as learning tools. Worth what I paid for them and more. I do not recommend TrueFire for beginners but for more advanced players it is great.

I am sure there exist a ton of stuff in BB that I don't know how to use yet. I find TAB somewhat useful as long as I have standard notation with it. For simple things the Nashville number system is useful for me. I would get crossed up with Nashville number system if I had to try to read jazz stuff.

BB will let you use any of the above.

I may not live long enough to see the kind of improvements I want but some of you here will. I am getting old!!

You will be amazed at what all this will look like in ten years!!

Cheers,

Billy

“Amazing! I’ll be working with Jaco Pastorius, Charlie Parker, Art Tatum, and Buddy Rich, and you’re telling me it’s not that great of a gig?
“Well…” Saint Peter, hesitated, “God’s got this girlfriend who thinks she can sing…”
