Scott, that was really interesting. I thought the one at around 1:09 was really different sounding which I thought was nice and also the one at the end I've heard more of probably but liked it too. All were nice - I know nothing about guitar pedals. Thank you Josie for checking out the song. So glad you liked it. Will be experimenting more with different sounds to try and keep my music interesting.

Scott, nice job of mixing it up. Some interesting tones. Nice, soothing melody. The changes hold your interest. Enjoyed it.
Steve Thanks Steve your comments are appreciated. Excellent playing along the pedal steel. Has some very beautiful chord changes.
Janne Thanks Janne. Glad you liked the song. I've been looking forward to another one of you wonderful compositions... You didn't disappoint me at all... Very nicely done, Thanks so much Jim. I have been really appreciating your music as well.

Sweet song....appropriately titled!! When I read your desciption, I thought you'd really get unhinged with the fx but they are pretty tame and well-applied. Melody is gorgeous, and I really like that synth percussive element. Enjoyed much!! Take care. Greg

Good work on this Scott! Really dug the overall vibe on this one. The Pedal Steel is a great touch too. Well done! Thanks Joe appreciate you checking out the song. Scott, classic rock lullaby! I do not even want to compliment individual parts as it sounds great as a whole. A very nice and gentle composition that is suitable for all ages.
Misha. Thanks Misha Glad you liked the song Great tune this super melody could be used as a movie background.
Great playing and effects.
Sergio

Sounds great Scott. Beautiful tone.
Some effect around 2:50 makes it sound like it's clipping though. Hard to tell whether it is intentional or an actual clip.
But a great tune man.

Hi Scott,
This is significantly different from what I've come to anticipate from you. I really like that, with this composition, you've taken the opportunity to move outside of your comfort zone. The end result is definitely a worthy listen. I found it soothing and relaxing.
All the best, Noel Thanks allot Noel. Always trying to find something new and interesting. Glad you liked the song. Dear Scott,
your song shows once again that it's always worth the while to experiment.
A very nice, calming, yet exciting production - love it!
Cheers,
Stefan Thanks Stephan I am glad you checked out the song... I need to get up to date on effects I guess! The only pedal I own is a Cry Baby Wha pedal that I've had for 30+ years, and the only one on your list that I have heard of is the compression pedal. Mostly I just use reverb, delay, and distortion but I add them after the fact.
Some cool sounds happening though! And as always, nice melodic playing. Thanks Dave for checking out the song. I didn't know very much about recording and daw's and plugins when I first started playing again. I didn't even know how to mike the amp. Do I use a shure mic with a converter mixer or a usb mike. Was very confusing. So I looked for way to get the old school tones at reasonable volume levels. A daunting task. Scott,
I love the natural feel to this. It's so cool to hear your guitar with a variety of effects...
Nicely done - much enjoyed!
Bob Thanks Bob I am glad you checked the song out and that you liked it..

New directions for 2019? Hope we hear more like this. The effects (I especially like the 00:01:20 area) produce a kind of dialogue. At least, that's the way my ear interpreted it -- a kind of call and response format, captivating. No one I know handles the melody improv quite like Scott C. Thank you for the kind words Ed. I really appreciate it. I am glad you liked the song. Scott,
A nice piece. Peaceful.
The varying effects work well, keeping the ear engaged throughout. I especially like the last part...
fj Thank you Floyd for checking out the song. It is amazing how these effects can change the mood of the song. Make it angry make it sad. So glad you liked the song.. Scott, Very nice melodic piece. Relaxing and easy to listen to. That sparkle drive was my go to pedal when I played live. Like playing through two amps. One dirty and one clean. Good one, Tom Thanks so much for the comments. I am glad you mentioned how you achieved your live tone. I have been doing a lot of experimentation with using two amps. One dry one with effects. Even these ne pedals are including a mix control which controls the blend from a dry signal.. So glad you like the song.. That is very cinematic in feel and is a great showcase of your fine melodic playing and the different effects.
It's very peaceful and dreaming but always keeps you engaged...that's a great sweet spot to hit!
Lovely and wonderfully performed.
J&B
Thanks Janice and Bud for checking out the song. So glad you liked it

Will Thanks Will Thanks Greg. Yes the guitar effects company sure have some interesting names. Quite a few to choose from. Thanks for checking out the song. Cool Beans Scott! You keep getting better every time I hear one of your tunes! Thanks a lot Tommy. Your comments mean allot to me. Glad you liked the song.. Sounds great Scott. Beautiful tone.

But a great tune man. Thanks David for checking out the song. Interesting you mentioned the clipping. Pretty sure the clipping is coming from the wah. When I hold it in a certain spot it sure sounds like its clipping. Will play with it some more and see where that is coming from. Glad you liked the song. Scott,
