You are already able to do most of what you are asking using just BIAB right now.

Even prior to the release of 2019 versions, this could be done in BIAB. 2019 releases have included new features to highlight some of these little used features and bring them more to the forefront.

Using Islansoul's examples, I'll explain.

<<< A piano that plays a samba style on the head of the songs and then at one point switch to a cha cha or latin style.>>>

Each channel (track) in the BIAB mixer can have up to 10 instruments (any instrument or multiple instances of the same instrument).
There are several methods to switch out or alternate instruments on a track as well as new RealStyles that tracks play a medley of instruments based on chosen parameters when they switch out. Per bars - 4 or 8; Per Part Markers for example.

Instruments can alternate as above or they can play simultaneously.

Instruments can be switched out by Style, by selecting the Medley button in the RealTracks Picker or manually using the Bar Settings (F5).

A Tip to maintain continuity and sound similarity when using this feature is to use the StylePicker filtered to search for a particular session artist. For instance with piano, search for John Jarvis or Miles Black and make your piano selection from the various styles these artists play on.

Any volume level variance can easily be adjusted from the Bar Settings Menu and selecting Gain Change from the track drop down menu and balancing the track levels as needed.

Using an Fx across the channel (it will affect all the instruments on that channel) such as a mild reverb may also help balance the instruments to each other and make the track more cohesive.

Another method available now is to select different styles at different sections of your song. For instance change styles back and forth between verses and chorus's or at a Bridge or instrumental break. This will effectively double your number of part markers from two to four.

Create a custom multi style that can have as many as 26 part markers. This is not the easiest way and may not be worthwhile unless you are creating a style that will be used often on multiple projects.

Hope this helps. Please ask any questions you may have to implement these and use them in your project.
