John, a push means to play the chord earlier than the beat it’s on. So you are saying a 1/8 note push sounds like it’s playing late. A 1/16 push would push less of a duration and play even later, so that’s not the answer. If I understand the question correctly, either you are asking for a 3/16 push, which doesn’t exist in BIAB, or else maybe you are reporting an error in how this one style is played. Is any of that correct?
