You guys crack me up!  Lots of weasel wording around to try and justify what you wanna do! Yet it could not be stated more clearly than the first 5 words in the first rule, "The songs must be originals"! Doesn't matter if a hairy fox or a hairless bear granted you a license to cover a song, it is still NOT an original!
