Thanks for all of your suggestions, I'll give them a try.
It's not really for personal use as such; I sometimes need to access my work computer from home on weekends & after hours. We run our own business, which is service related, and sometimes the need arises to fix things out of office hours. It's a 90 minute round trip for me to get to & from my office, so as you can understand, remote access is a great time saver for me.
I'll let you know how I get on; thanks again.
