OP Rustyspoon# Veteran Joined: Mar 2018 Posts: 6,734	Another thing that could be crashing Sonic for some users is NVIDIA Video card driver. I had severe crash issues with Sonic standalone and VST. Tried many things, but then gave up and sent crash log to Halion team in Germany. Their solution worked. Pasting from email: I have heard back from the team in Germany, they found crashes in the Nvidia card, windows components and dependencies. They are recommending initializing preferences for Halion Sonic (See link below for initializing preferences), then repair of the 2017 redistributable and the .net framework. Also they recommend reinstalling the Nvidia Driver. The instructions for clearing preferences are below. The instructions are writing for Cubase but apply to most of our software.
