Is there a real track or a real drum style that has Just the kick drum stomping in quarter notes? I call myself listening to all the real tracks that I have and didn't find anything... but it seems like it would be a very common rhythm, so perhaps i am missing it? I have BIAB 2019 PRO with the factory furnished realtracks Pro-Real tracks 1-6 If not is there, is there a pack that does contain it. Thanks for all the help.
midi is the way to go - we used to substitute a midi kick drum only track sometimes when we wanted to simply sing and clap hands for a refrain (won't say chorus as it means something different in BIAB!)and sometimes only on beats 2 and 4
1. Go to \bb\Drums and find the WAV file for the drums that you like.
2. Open the WAV file in Realband. Seeing that you have BIAB Windows, Realband should be installed, too.
3. Make sure that "Snap to beat" is active in Realband.
4. Scroll to the end of that wav file, you should find the individual drum sounds.
5. Copy the sound of the Bass drum only and then paste it on beat 1 (bar 1) of a new Realband track. With snapping to beats active, your pasting of the bass drum WAV should align fine.
6. Now copy and paste that sound on beats 2, 3, and 4
7. Drag the mouse across the bar with the 4 x bass drum wavs in it to select it.
8. Click on "Export selection" and make sure that the file is saved with ACID information. Save the file in \bb\Realtracks\loops using a distinctive name so that it's easy to find.
You've now created a loop of 4 bass drum beats per bar that can be loaded into BIAB. Since ACID information has been saved with this loop, it will be able to loaded and played at all tempos.

Noel, Not involved with this discussion but this is a Brilliant solution and will use this technique in the future for sure. Ian
Old Guys Rule.The older I get,the better I was! BB2023 ULTRA, 1013, Win 7 and 10
Hey... we may have a winner here!! I was making some decent headway on creating my own drum style... But this seems like a great work around to all the typing and configuring of the traditional method. Especially when It's just a kick... and nothing more I Will certainly try this!! thank you Noel96
A follow up if you or someone knows... I am not familiar with ACID information... But is that something that is present by virtue of copying the drums from an existing BIAB drum file... or is it generated during the "export with acid information" from the session in real band? Reason I ask is... can I use the drum recording I already have? Will it still snap to the beat and export properly?
2. Enter a name for the loop and click OK. The ACIDIZE window will then appear.
3. Follow numbers 3, 4, 5 shown on the image below.
Before doing this, I suggest that you navigate to the below site, download the latest Realband update (Build 3) and install it. This was released on January 30. If you bought BIAB after this date, then RB will be up to date. If you purchased it earlier, though, you are probably running an earlier version of Realband.
As far as I can tell, your image is the same image as what I posted with the "Move to Loops folder" missing.
When I tested it, this option disappears if you manually navigate to the loops folder in the "Save As" step that appears immediately after clicking on "Export selection or whole track" (#1 on the previous image).
Okay. I have not gotten this to work yet. I get 3 different conclusions. It either... 1. Don't play at all... no error loading or anything... just no sound, no meter lights, nothing 2. Plays at wrong tempo. I've even tried recording several different tempos and picking one that matches my song exactly. 3. Play back is jumpy... get several double, or missed notes.
