I downloaded the program, installed it and then opened up a BIAB song I made yesterday with a walking bass track, the old jazz standard AVALON using the style J!~HTCLB.STY (Jazz Hotclub Style), and all it imported was a single page consisting of the 36 measure Treble Clef and the chord names, nothing else.
Is this the extent of what Musescore does with BIAB files?
I am not really familiar with that particular program. I just ran the exact style, opened the sgu file in Musescore 3 and got the same results, i.e. treble clef and chord names. When I saved the BiaB file as MIDI I got all of the parts in Musescore 3, i.e. bass, guitar etc sans the chord names. But as Matt has said chord names are not part of the MIDI transfer. I have to run now but I will try to do some more investigating this evening.
I think my wife has started to show the first signs of dementia.
