I would have liked to be Gustav Mahler on the day that he got the adagietto from symphony no. 5 down on paper (the one used in the movie "Death in Venice"). He must have felt a huge amount of pride and accomplishment after composing that. It is - in my opinion - one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written.
