Can someone try this for me please, cause the results I'm getting are driving me a bit crazy.
Open the melodist, choose an empty Melodist (one that has no name but just a number), then click the Melodist Maker Edit button. Set the note range to cover just a few notes, or even a tone or a semitone, say 55 to 56. Click Okay. Then when the edit window closes, click Okay on the main Melodist window to generate a song.
Now, does the generated melody cover a larger note range than you set it to cover? Because when I try it it always does. The Note range I select has no effect.
It would be great to see if this is the case for everyone, or if it works properly for everyone else.
