In BIAB, you can't pause the soloist track (nor the melody track); only the accompaniment tracks (Drums, Piano, Guitar, B[*****], and Strings - to use the legacy names). If you need to pause a soloist track, then you must create a custom solo on the track where you specify which bars should include the solo. You can do this iteratively in different sections of your song.
By the way, "Bass" doesn't display properly, because when you add the "bold text" codes, you end up with a bolded "B" followed by a 3 letter word that the forum disallows.
