Ah, thanks John. That would make sense. So, if in future, I start recording on the audio track from bar two or three, that would mean I should be able to move the audio track back using time shift without any problem? In theory, yes. In practice, I would just try it and see. Personally, I would just do the realignment in RealBand, as audio editing is much easier there (but I also am familiar with RealBand, so I realize there could be a learning curve).

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
