What version of BIAB do you use and is it the latest build?
If it's a more recent version, and you want to change the key signature of the chordsheet and transpose the chords (and maybe melody), then use the left column.
The right column only changes the key signature without transposing the chords or melody (i.e. chords will still be the same if you set the key using this right column.)
After the key change, both columns will have tick against the letter of the new key because this is what the key is.
