Hey, it's wonderful to hear another production from you.
The FIRST thing that always strikes us is how much heart and soul your vocals have. They always sound so genuine. That will draw us into a song quicker than anything else. And this tune is certainly no exception.
In addition to the vocals and fine write the arrangement and choice of RT's along with your keyboards carry the song so well. I think Torrey mentioned the verse to verse chords...nice touch.
And, as always, the mix shines. Nothing to add and nothing to take away.

Everything you do is first class. Your flair for exceptional arranging never fails to leave me feeling musically satisfied and very impressed. First and foremost I am glad that your health has improved, plus it sounds like that month off did you very well.
This is what should be on country radio today. Everything about this is top shelf; your backing tracks are perfect and your vocal is really strong! Plus those lyrics are top shelf!
This is a great song.

A very nice write. Your vocals are always so nicely done - and work well for this type song. Comfortable and convincing. The harmonies are super.

Can't name a song that... lessen it's country? Well you certainly did. And it's definitely a country tune.
