So, you worked all night to get everything just like you want it. You have some cool solo parts or just distinctive instrument parts on every track. It all sounds perfect. Then...you realize you are gonna have to change the key in order to properly sing it.

Wouldn't it be nice if BIAB could simply transpose the exact RealTracks you have used into a new key. Currently you must unfreeze and regenerate everything when you change the key. But surely BIAB "knows" which bits of RealTracks it has used in each bar so why couldn't it simply transpose those and keep essentially the same riff bits on every bar, just transposed?

If BIAB is using the same "inventory" of riff bits to generate regardless of key, this should be a fairly easy feature to implement. But, if there are actually different riff bits for different keys then I can see why this will not work.

Related question...is there proper terminology to refer to the sections of a RealTrack that are used in my song? "Riff bits" is probably not correct! laugh
