https://soundcloud.com/torrey-bliss/love-everyoneI fully intended to work on instrumental material for the foreseeable future until I listened to the song Jim posted a week or two ago that had a Beatle-esque sound to it and...wham inspiration struck! This one is from the heart and has a familiar melody to it but I cannot place it so I went with it! Hopefully I haven't borrowed too heavily from someone! It's a very simple song...simple lyrics and guitar but it's what felt natural for it! The only thing that was a bit complicated was the background harmony vocals. I'm in no way done here and this will need further mixing with volume tweaking of the vocals and guitar but decided to go ahead and present it as is because it will be a while until I have access to my studio! I hope someone finds it worth their time to listen! A beautiful sentiment and a beautiful write - solid.

Nice.
The production is a match for the quality of the lyric. Parts of the melody are "familiar", but are more "glimpses of influence" than anything else. And they really work to keep the ear engaged.
Excellent vocal. Excellent mix. Crisp and clear. Nice "drop" at the end, too!

Oh yeah, I love this! Great mood and lyric.
Vocals are right in the pocket as is the guitar, just perfect for the piece.

I loved this Torrey. Loved the intro for the song. Vocal was just excellent. Really loved the harmonies. Your guitar was sweet and tasteful. such a compliment to the song. This song had a big feel to it. Very cool message in the lyrics. Well done.

Wow - what a tune  It is incredibly heart felt, and there's some really memorable lines in this. Plus your vocals are top notch and those harmonies are rock solid. Love the progressions as well, and it's perfectly catchy. All around a solid write. You should be proud of this one - thanks for sharing!

Torrey, this is excellent! Very well written. Your vocals are always good, but I think this is some of your best. The guitar solo is very tastefully done.

Sweet lyric and a great musical backing - the melody is def. late Beatlesque but not a lift/steal/borrow.
The vocal treatment reinforces the fabfourness - you harmonize with yourself REALLY well.

Beautiful chording and melody, some familiar elements from the Beatles and their followers, but still uniquely wrapped in your own style. Great vocals, especially the harmony. Not many lines of lyrics but they are all perfect jewels to be admired. After several listens, the hook melody reminded me of songs like Land Of Make Believe and Ammonia Avenue, completely different songs, but just wanted to share this interesting association Janne

Torrey, Super tune! Yep, I can see a little bit of Jim in it Beautiful arrangement and vocals. Reminded me more of ELO than Beatles...but that might be my own hallucinations. Beatle feel but even more, IMHO, recalled The Air that I Breathe by the Hollies. Really impressive on every level, thoroughly enjoyed it.

I can’t match the melody to any song I know, so I think you’re fine there . . . but it certainly has elements reminiscent of a number of artists for me: Alan Parsons Project, Joe Jackson, Beatles, etc. But it stands on its own, unique and compelling.
Love this tune—magnetic melody, impressive vocal. So wonderfully done! Glad your foreseeable future changed quickly enough that from it came this song. A pleasure to listen to!

Thanks for the listen Jim! I was more concerned with the melody in the verse section. But after reading the comments of several listeners I'm not so concerned. Somebody would have picked up on it by now! A wise man once said " there is nothing new under the sun". I guess we are all borrowing from someone else in all of these songs we write to some degree. We just try to make not so noticable! I appreciate your contributions to the forum with your music and comments! T

This is about as Beatlesque as one can get. Paul and John singing with George's lead is what I though of right from the git go.
Torry you did an outstanding job in doing this while keeping it Torreyesque! Plus your backing tracks, lyrics, vocals and mix were perfect.

There is a lot of wisdom packed into those two lines...
As mentioned there are lovely hints of post Beatles era McCartney and Harrison but ultimately it's a Torrey Bliss song all the way around.
And for us that means top notch vocals with rich harmony, classy guitar, a positive lyric, a great arrangement and all packaged within a fine mix.
Extra congrats for those wonderful harmonies.

Dear Torrey, Im still waiting for the first song of yours that I wouldn't rate 'top-notch' - I think I better give up hope No, seriously: What a beautiful tune, so well arranged, perfectly sung (can't get enough of your harmony vocals). Great job on the guitar, too. And again it's clearly to beheard who influenced you so much... But nevertheless it's always pure Torrey stuff - no doubt, I'm a huge Torrey fan! Thanks for that great song and the most enjoyable listen. With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There are also new electric blues RealTracks, including electric blues with PG favorite Johnny Hiland (3) and soulful electric slide guitar from Colin Linden (4). If you love funk & gospel, there are great new options this year, including gospel organ (3) from Charles Treadway, as well as new funk, tango, and rock ’n’ roll drums (3) and bass (1). Country, & Americana (Sets 483–488):
Our new country & Americana RealTracks deliver a rich collection of acoustic, electric, and roots-inspired styles! We have new country pop (9) with legendary guitarist Brent Mason. There is also a potpourri (14) of bouzouki, guitars, banjo, and more, perfect for adding texture and character to contemporary acoustic arrangements. We’ve added funky country guitar (5) with PG favorite Brent Mason, along with classic pedal steel styles (5) featuring steel great Doug Jernigan. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing. Finally, we have “background soloing” acoustic guitar (12) with Brent Mason — simpler, but still very tasty acoustic lines designed to sit beautifully behind vocals or act as a subtle standalone solo part.
