Guten Morgen.
Ist es eigentlich möglich, einzelne oder alle Real Tracks in einem Song durch Midi Tracks zu ersetzen?
Hier ein Beispiel:
der Style "_HORNPOP" enthält einen Bläsersatz, den ich gerne als MIDI-Track im Sequenzer bearbeiten möchte.
Wenn ich rechts im Mixer auf die "Horn Section" Spur klicke, kann ich zwar "wähle Midi Instrument" klicken, es wird aber nicht auf die GM Instrumente umgeschaltet.
Funktioniert das überhaupt, oder können die Realtracks nicht ersetzt werden?

Hallo Stephan,
beim _hornpop-RealStyle ist der Horns-Track von echten Musikern im Bläsersatz gespielt und aufgenommen – nicht als irgendwie getrennte Audio- oder MIDI-Spuren. Einige (nicht alle) Realtracks verfügen zusätzlich über sogenannte RealCharts – das Gespielte liegt also zusätzlich ausnotiert vor (weitgehend identisch) und die Notation wird dann in der Notationsansicht der Spur angezeigt - als mehrstimmige Satznotation, nicht jedes Instrument einzeln.
Du kannst aber diese RealCharts nicht innerhalb Band in a Box in MIDI-Spuren verwandeln. Du kannst zwar die Notation der RealCharts im Notationsedit-Modus ändern und die Spur dann einfrieren (*-Button), das ändert aber nur die Notation, nichts aber am Gespielten – das bleibt so wie vom Programm ursprünglich generiert.
Du kannst deinen kompletten Song als MIDI-Datei exportieren. Wenn du in den MIDI-Datei-Optionen anklickst "Speichere Realcharts in MIDI-Dateien" werden die Bläsersätze mit exportiert, so dass du sie in einem externen Programm weiter bearbeiten kannst. Alternativ kannst du auch als MusicXML speichern. Auch dort werden die RealCharts mitgenommen.
Eine schnelle Möglichkeit MIDI-Dateien einzelner Spuren zu erzeugen, ist per Drag-and-Drop: Dazu klickst du oben in der horizontelen Spuranzeige auf die ausgewählte Spur (z.B. Horn Sektion) und ziehst das mit der Maus links oben auf das Drag-und-Drop Feld MID. Dann wird automatische eine MIDI-Datei der Spur generiert und in den ○rdner \bb\DragandDrop abgelegt. Die kannst du dann extern weiter bearbeiten.

... der Style "_HORNPOP" enthält einen Bläsersatz, den ich gerne als MIDI-Track im Sequenzer bearbeiten möchte. Der Bläsersatz des RealTracks Styles _HORNPOP wird in BiaB mit einem Unterstrich angezeigt. Das bedeutet, dass der Bläsersatz eine Midi Transcription zur Anzeige der Notation enthält. Diese Midi Noten können einfach via "Edit/ Copy Special .../ Move Tracks ..." etwa auf die Melodiespur kopiert werden (die Melodiespur des Demosongs zum _HORNPOP Style ist leer). Dort kann der Bläsersatz dann wie üblich bearbeitet werden. Beim Rück-Kopieren des bearbeiteten Bläsersatzes von der Melodiespur auf die Bläsersatzspur (als Strings in Biab bezeichnet) wird eine Meldung generiert -> "Strings track is now frozen so its contents won't be changed with auto-generation functions." Rechtsklick im Mixer auf den Bläsersatz ermöglicht ein Löschen des Audioteils der Realtrack Spur mit der Option die Mididaten zu behalten. Dann liegt ausschließlich eine (bearbeitete) Midispur auf der ursprünglichen Bläsersatzspur. Natürlich könnte man sich die Copy-auf-Melodiespur-und-Zurückkopieren Gymnastik sparen und gleich die Midinoten der Bläsersatzspur editieren - in diesem Falle 'Freeze' nicht vergessen.

Hallo Martin,
danke für den Hinweis und die Erläuterungen, das ist ein sehr gangbarer und bequemer Weg, den ich so auch noch nicht kannte. Damit geht das auch innerhalb Band in a Box ganz gut. Wichtig für Stephan: Du musst im editierbaren Notationsmodus das Häkchen bei "MONO" löschen, um den mehrstimmigen Satz auch mehrstimmig editieren zu können.
