Dang, this is news to me Been a while since I listened to him, but I always admired his ability to blend genres so effortlessly. He was one of a kind and will certainly be missed. He really had that New Orleans soul in him.

Just remember that there is a BB style modeled after his playing style.
He was kinda like a white George Clinton in a way. He wrote some interesting music and only had one radio hit.... Right place, wrong time. Some of his songs were covered by other artists.... Guilded Splinters was a classic song for Humble Pie. If you haven't heard it.... listen.
