Hey Guys, I am new here, just thought I would contribute. I know many Bands and Musicians that are trying to get their heads around the whole marketing online scenario. There is a short ebook on this website that gives you piles of information and links to four really good marketing books. Two are specific to Musicians and 2 are teaching you how to Market on Youtube and Myspace. I suggest you read them. The site itself is crap, but the ebook gives you links and info that is worth gold. 4 Books on Marketing your Band BOOKS 1) Mistakes Musicians and Band's Make when Trying to Promote Themselves. 2) My Space Marketing Tips for Bands and Business 3) Free eBook on YouTube Marketing. 4) This free chapter from the book “Get Your Band Out of the Basement and Keep them out of the Asylum” booklet answers the question “What is Podcasting?” and explains how and where to list your music to reach a global audience.

Hi Tim. I'm glad you posted this info here. I seldom goto the tips and tricks forum.
This probably is spam, so to speak, but it might be very useful spam. What he's promoting here is wisdom on pages. So I agree. It would be a good idea, however, to get the ok from Peter Gannon about posting an ad like this before throwing it up there. This one may just be what most musicians are looking for. So I hope the PG webmaster lets this one sit. In fact, they ought to pin it so everybody gets a chance to really read it.

An update. I went to the site. You can't get the ebooks without taking a " Survey" of some kind. So I can only guess this is spam to lure musicians to that site to trick them into giving out information. Guess this really is spam for sure.
