I made the

move to speed up at a certain bar.
USUAL GOTCHA. USUAL SORRY.
Now everything caput - AND SPED UP THE ENTIRE SONG!!!

Out of curiosity...
What method did you use to speed up the song? (I take it that this is BIAB 2019 with the latest update installed.)
Also...
Did you regenerate the song after making the changes?
I use tempo changes regularly in my songs and I haven't had an issue with them. If you could give me a bit more information, I'll try and recreate your problem and see what's happening.

Yes, as Noel asked, please tell us what steps you undertook. Maybe the issue is not with the program itself but something else (like an angry user...).

If you used F5 to alter the tempo, you have to also use F5 on a following measure to put the tempo back to the original tempo ...

If so, you should edit your post title.
Many so called bugs, are just that the poster has not learnt to do what they want, but make assumptions what the program should do in their opinion,

Really not fair to say a piece of software has a "bug" unless you are an expert in that software. Computers don't do what you WANT them to do. They do what you TELL them to do.

If it’s what some of us suspect, then it’s just a case of a quick education (turn off what you turned on). To the OP, please come back and tell us, or give us more info if you are convinced it’s a bug so we can verify that.
Assuming it’s user error, no need to feel bad - we’ve all done stuff like this. Then change the post title, because people read these forums when they are considering purchasing BIAB.

KGU 2, now that I had a bit of fun with you all that happened is you went into Bar settings and sped up the song. Fine, that's Part 1. Part 2 is you go to the bar you want it slowed to where it was or any tempo for that matter and reset the tempo there. By doing that you can speed up/slow down/speed up again/slow down again as many times as you want and to what degree you want.
You do understand all this is available just by hitting the Help button in the lower right corner of the F5/Bar Settings window?
So please stop with the Bug!!!! stuff and the grrrrr stuff and just read the Help or ask here nicely.

into sections. Then try to sew the pieces together in a DAW.
[ Perhaps I just haven't seen and good modern tutorials of how to accomplish
flawlessly? ]

You've essentially only repeated that you have a problem. We are aware of that, and want to help you resolve, but need to know the procedure you are using first.
