Anyone have any sage advise on where to look for solution to this problem?

I keep my PC on overnight, and when i come back to it in the morning, it appears that no sound is available. I'm on the latest release of W10.

I notice this first in RealBand, when I run my SEQ file, it appears to run correctly, but no sound. I try to restart the app, no change.

I try to play an mp3 file in SoundCloud..appears to be "trying" to play, but never starts.
I try to play an mp3 file via WinAmp--it loads, but never "starts".
I try to start a youtube video in Chrome--it cannot play.

If I restart my PC, all is resolved.

I never had this until the latest Windows release. Any ideas where I might look to ask my system to not let it's sound engine "go to sleep" overnight?

Thanks!
