Hello Frank,

It sounds like your tracks have been rendered to the audio track - is the audio track color blue? In version 2009, this feature was in fact called 'freeze' - in 2010 we refer to it as 'rendering song to audio track', since 'freeze' is a much better term for the new freeze feature. You can undo this by going to the Play menu and clicking 'un-render song from audio track'.

Spot on Andrew!. Yes this was the problem- I couldn't work out why B&B was saying in a yellow message that the tracks had been rendered to audio track. Doing as you sugested solved the problem.

To others who may be reading this I didn't quite explain what I meant in my previous post with
"Note that the word wav does not necessarily appear in the file title page as a wav file (e.g. filename_wav.mgu but just as filename.mgu) "

B&B does not do this but it was my method of indicating that the saved file was in the old freeze mode (ie a wav file)
And because it was not included I couldn't figure why it was a rendered wav.

By the way those guitar compilations of both the new Memphis and Country boogie are absolutely superb. The clean clanging of the stratocasters takes my breath away on my sound system. Fabulous.

Thanks again.

Cheers F
