Memories of childhood holidays. I always used to nag my parents to take me there, those dreams are part of this song. For me, Barafundle Bay in South Wales (UK) was like strawberry fields was to john Lennon so I tried to evoke a bit of that ethereality.

I'm doing the vocals, acoustic guitar and slide guitar. The rest is BIAB.

Hello japokeapeg. Welcome to the forum.
I can hear the Beatles influence.
Nice job on the harmonies.
Have you thought of doing this in another key?
may allow you to bring more out of your vocal.
Catchy tune nicely done. Rob

japokeapeg,

An enjoyable listen. Nicely put together, well mixed.

Has the sound of an early 70's radio hit...(though a bit long for an AM song. smile ). Catchy.

The slide was cool...

Welcome to the Showcase.

Wow - I really enjoyed this one! Definitely a psychedelic 60's vibe going on here which is always good by me. The Beatles influence is apparent. Some really top notch vocals, and I thought the instrumentation was captivating and unique.

Great work and thanks for sharing smile

Welcome to the forum!
I enjoyed your catchy reminiscing. Good vocals and guitars. Around 3:30 the song seems to lose some energy - perhaps vocals/harmonies in a higher register would suit the feeling better?
Your mix sounds good.
