New files default to 3 choruses... and in Song Settings.... a 2 bar ending. Any way to change this default to a user's Preference.....such as 1 chorus and no ending? Thanks-
I don't think so, but I've never investigated fully.
A workaround would be to set up a BIAB song structure to your specification then save as Template (for example) then open BAIB by double clicking that file each time. You could have a selection of templates for different arrangements.
Thanks to both, but workarounds still entail clicks so it's just as easy to click after opening the default New file. One would think this should be a user defined preference. "3 choruses and an ending" feels more like my dream-date than my tem-plate. Perhaps this is ultimately a wishlist item.

I’m guessing this default is from the origins of BIAB: a program to play jazz fakebook songs for practice. This is no longer the way everyone uses the program.
