First, if it is a RealTrack, make certain that the TrackName in green is fully underlined, which tells us that there is both Notation AND Guitar TAB available for that particular RealTrack.

Thanks, Mac, this was the problem: that soloist track is underlined only at the first half...

If the above applies, go to Notation View (the 8th note toolbar icon) and hit the Options button there.

In the Notation Options window, locate the "Guitar" Track Type and set the dropdown selection for that. Be sure to examine all the options available while in that window.

Mac, where is the Guitar Track Type? Do you mean the first one, on top left ("track type")? If you mean that one, I have it ALWAYS grayed, whatever is the track (I mean soloist or midi), as "Single Channel" (normal)

Also, don't neglect the Guitar Fretboard view in favor of TAB only. Often the fretboared can be a faster way to visualize and learn than TAB can be. Learn how to click on the white blocks beneath the fretboard view to show positions, too.

Yes, probably it's better, more simple...

Grazie!
