Are you using mme drivers with Delta?
Have you done a factory reset? Have you changed buffers from the default of 400? This is too low. Try 1000. Turn off the internet. Using airplane mode.

What OS?
Are you using M-Audio drivers or Windows drivers for the 1010?
You can tell by launching the M-Audio 1010 mixer app.

You could also always try reverting back to build 3 or any other stabler version you remember if that helps.

I've yet to make the jump to W10 on my audio machines, though I'll be forced to soon enough.

Do you get any error messages you could post when it crashes?
Have you rebooted, waited for the machine to settle down, then launched only RB (to narrow down other possibilities)?

Hopefully support helps soon.
FWIW I might try the Chat option at top of page and let them see what happens in a remote session (if they are willing). It's labeled Live Help.
Sometimes just getting a support person's attention expedites things.

I haven't experienced your problems, but I'm not on W10 yet. I have heard of people's 1010 drivers getting switched to Windows drivers unexpectedly (update maybe), so that's why I asked.
Just trying to help.

No.
If you are using asio drivers they can only be used with 1 program at a time.
I used to have a Delta 1010 that was rock solid with XP.
I wondering what computer your using with a PCI card.

I do believe maudio stopped with win7.They don't support win10 officially. So the drivers are probably a 3rd party hack?
Rharv may know.

Try not using the Deltaas a test. Assuming you also have another basic built in sound card use that on the drivers page and see if you still get issues.

hey john option 1 just enoff goes on c drive to operate good and you operate from usb drive know a while back when I lost windows media player I got o error for playback on audition styles so support suggested to do option 2 which I did 25 gigs go on your c drive the real tracks and real drums stay on the usb drive I wasn't using real band a whole lot at the time anyway option 1 it plays back know however the minute I stop play back the white error message comes on then you have to click okey and it plays its a pain in the neck to click okey ever time eric

JFord and JazzMammal seem to know how to keep RB working smoothly. You might reach out to them.

Also, Kent at PG knows something you can delete in RB which seems to make it work better.

Hope you get it figured out.
