Really well done! Superbly catchy, and that groove is infectious. Got my toe tapping from the get go. Really strong vocals and the instrumentation is lush. I can imagine this sounding fantastic live.

Thanks for sharing smile

Ah, blues... A song form apparently invented to maximize guitar soloing opportunities. grin

Fun listen, nice guitar work.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi Clifford,

How long is eternity?

Well, at least way longer than the 3:12 of this awesome song, because it's such a pleasure to listen to it that time flies by.

Was wondering what it reminded me of, thne I read that Jum recignized a Carl Perkins flavor. Which immediately had the smell of a burning matchbox creeping up my nose. cool

If that ain't a good tribute.... Very enjoyable and toe-tapping.

Great job on the guitars, and buying that new stuff paid off for me.

Cheers,

Stefan

Thank You so much Stefan, yeah we enjoy the new amp sims in thu, I have a lot of amp sims, we dont really play live much, so recording is the main thing, and i dont really need an amp to do it. I have 3 modeling amps I use live, 50 watt marshall code that I love, 40 watt Fender mustang, love also, and my old trusty peavy vypyr 30 watt. the rest is amp sims, and lots of them. My tube amp days are over, i had a couple of early 70's fender super reverbs and a peavey classic 50 mid 90's. but the weight of them too much. Keep in touch stefan. Cliff

Yes, I'm getting a Carl Perkins vibe from this too. Nothing wrong with that!

Good vocal, nice guitar work too. Guitar could be a little bit louder in the mix for my tastes, but then I probably mix mine too loud :P

I also only use Amp Sims here, much more practical for recording.

Good song, Cliff, enjoyed the listen!

I'm not sure if eternity is real, but I think it's nice to think about immortalization in some way, even if it's only via legacy. Anyways, really good tune! Thanks for sharing.

Cliff and Corey:

Classic blues . . . so well done. Love the hook and that opening verse, and the vocal sits so well in this mix. Cool stuff! Lots to like about this one.

Best regards,

Deej

Hi Cliff,

first of all: Sorry for calling you by the wrong name and thanks a lot for your informative reply.

I used to play guitar in a lot of bands, but since I quit my last band decades ago I grab one of my axes very rarely, to be honest: Only when I want to add a solo to one of my videos. And the last time I did that was - shame on me - last October ( TELL ME WHY ) . Today I started to develop a solo for the vid I'm recently working on, but you can imagine what that means: fingers like dough - will take me a couple of days to get them a bit more flexible again frown

I was always planning to sell my old amps, but I don't have the heart to do so. I still got my 100 W Marshall Valve Combo from 1976 and a tiny Fender amp that I love - but both of them would need maintainance, because they sizzle and growl..

For recording I mostly use a smal VOX VT 20 which comes with a software that offerns dozens of amp sims and gives even a blind owl like me the chance to check out different sounds.

I still got a couple of guitars (can you ever have too many guitars?) - the most important ones are: a 1972 Gibson LP Custom (I think), a Jeff Beck Signature Strat and a Mexican Fat Strat with a Floyd Rose trem. In the Sixties (thus at the age of 16 or 17) I owned a Fender Esquire - I should have never sold it, but I did it. A friend just sent me a photo (the only one there is) when I played it, and I could immediately tell that I was playing Hendrix' Let The Good Times Roll smile .

A lot of good times have rolled since then - unfortunately they seem to be coasting to a stop these days... smile

Looking forward to your next song - take care,

Stefan
