I pulled an MGU file from my BIAB 2008.5 into the new 2010 chord sheet to find 20 lines in a 100 or so bar song - a new line for every part marker basically. I searched to see if there had been an addition to the F5 key which would
"add a combo in the F5 dialog
Line Break for this bar
Auto (< ------------ default)
"Force new line"
"No new line" .
Unfortunately not. We are still struck with a new section line every time we want to insert a drum fill on a single chorus chord sheet, or section off Intro, verse, chorus, bridge etc. Messy right now.
From a songwriter's POV I still think the single chorus is the easiest way to evolve the song format on the chord sheet. But I would still like to see better "sectioning" control. Or am I missing something to this end in 2010. If you read the links above, there was some hope that there would be changes.
