Hi dfaris, Simply read the SGU file into RB. The muted bars are not read by Realband. I really like using RB as it gives me much greater control over individual sections of a track. The feature I like most is that I can regenerate selected bars rather than a whole track if I choose. While muted bars are not read into RB, this is very easily accommodated. - First of all, just copy the track you want to work on and mute the original track. This will allow you to have the original to get back to you if you want to start all over.
- Working on the copied track, select the bars you want mutes, and delete the sound (audio or midi).
I strongly encourage you to look at the RB video. It will show you lots of things to get started. It's HERE and is called "Introduction to Realband".
