It does make a difference. Now I can hear the vocals at the bar before the first one. I didn't know this was possible, since the event happens before the first bar, which we cannot see or edit. Well, this was it then. This option needs to be enabled, or else the the vocal's first section will be skipped. Thanks for the help on solving this.  Great that it's been resolved. Yes, I noticed that the vocal starts during the pickup notes. Inserting a bar probably won't help because the vocal and lyrics will then most likely be out of sync.
