Here is #11 in my song a month challenge for 2019. It for my wife's birthday (Wendy). There is a stumble in the vocal 3/4 the way thru, but I couldn't re-record it as this is a surprise for her and she's been home for the last couple days. Will get this fixed in my December re do of all my posted songs.

Hi Troy,
I am not a dedicated fan of song writing challenges because they very often lead to songs the world hasn't been waiting for.
But this one is really great: A very nice flow, I do like how it transports the affection for your wife. I especially enjoyed the chorus a lot.The backing track is good and I like the way you sing.
If I may make a modest remark on the mix: Without the written lyrics I would have missed a lot of them (esp. of the verses). OK, I'm not a native English speaker, so there's a big chance for that anyway, but I think that bringing the vox a bit more to the front wouldn't be a bad idea. But this is my very personal impression, so don't take it as a negative point-
It's a great song and I enjoyed the listen a lot.

The 1st note is a bit loud.
The ADT, double track or other effect you've used on vocals is a little weird in head phones as it gives a little "out of phase" pressured sound to my ears.
Also Wendy comes across as Eddie.
Also I hear the right side louder and slightly before the left. Could be the psycho acoustic of a delay used.
Nice song though.

Nicely done  A wonderful tribute, and a solid tune for sure! Nicely catchy, and your vocals sounded good in my opinion. Loved the groove as well. Looking forward to hearing the full wrapped up version near the end of the year! Thanks for sharing

NIce melody and sound to this one—really pleasing listen. Your voice has a nice tone, matches the song well . . . but I agree the the phrasing could be a bit tighter—the lyrics get a tad lost on just the listen. But that’s really more a nit than anything—this is a pretty tune.
