Under the Audio menu, there's an option for setting for "Export Song as Audio". On older versions of BIAB, this was called "Render to audio" (or something similar).

If you click on that option, a dialogue window will open that contains the audio settings for rendering.

As far as I can determine, it is the Lead-in setting here that needs to be active.

If "Include 2 bar Lead-in" is not activated on your settings, click it on. You will then probably need to render the song to audio using the "Render" button (#4) for the setting to be remembered.

If you deactivate "One file per track", the render will create a single wav file in the same directory as your song. This needs to be deleted after the render as it will automatically attach (as audio) to the song file next time you open the song.

Hopefully, this is the setting that's needed.
