In Your Hands Hi everyone, Since I got back from India I've been incredibly busy and also full of cold so singing has been out of the question. But I wanted to keep messing about with Studio One and Band in a Box so that I could hopefully continue to improve with my writing and mixing. I decided to take a couple of vocal samples from Splice and worked on a chord progression and a little synth melody to use in the song. I think it sounds OK although I do plan to write my own lyrics and melody for the vocals in future. I couldn't really think of a title for the song so I thought I'd simply take 3 words from the chorus and use them! I thought it would be decent to share this because I quite like it hope you all enjoy it as well! _DUBSRCK.STY. This sounds great in my headphones.
You've taken BIAB places that I've never ever dreamt of. The music is captivating and I love how you've arranged and produced this using vocal samples. In all sincerity, I'm really impressed with what I'm hearing.

Wow - I agree with Noah - this is unlike anything I'd imagine being created using Band-in-a-Box! It sounds professional and really, really modern. Love how poppy and upbeat it is. An instant earworm, and a really inventive use of the software. Thanks for sharing

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and for such positive feedback! I enjoyed this but was a little unsure about sharing it as it's very different from my usual stuff and I was a bit unsure if the vocals fit. But it seems to work and I'm really glad to get good feedback on it.

Sounds very interesting.
I reckon you could tweak the pitch of the vocals in S1 so that they fit even better.

Hey Richard.
Interesting arrangement. Old school synths work nicely on this. Vocal chops add a bit of unusual / unpredictable feel, but it would be interesting to hear it with live voice. If you decide to sing it or find someone who will, please post a re-make.
