The BB plugin is nowhere to be found in Logic Pro X (10.4.6), any ideas???
"Band-in-a-Box" or "PG Music" are not in the AU plugins menu when I select "open software instrument"!! I have looked in the Plugins Manager - not there either?? Carl

Hi Carl. Open Logic Pro X and select software instrument, by default mine opens Classic Electric Piano. Make sure the Inspector window is open and you should see E-Piano. Click on that and select AU Instruments at the bottom and then PG Music inc / BiaB DAW AU plugin / Stereo. And you should see the Plugin window appear. Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot for trying for me Tim - mine doesn't open with Classic Electric Piano, in fact it opens with no instrument selected! Anyway, if I click on 'Instruments" on the instrument channel I've just opened (above the ch fader) and move down the menu to AU Instruments, there is no sign of PG Music or BiaB AU Plugin - and as I mentioned above, it's not in Plugin Manager either, so Logic clearly is not 'seeing' it.
I can still use everything else in BB 2019, listening to all the demos etc - and I can move individual tracks over from BB into Logic manually as before, just can't drag all the tracks over in one go from the Plugin. I'm sure Andrew will sort this out, cheers Tim! Carl

Do you actually see the plugin in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Component/ ?
Band-in-a-Box DAW AU Plugin.component
A reboot of your Mac may fix this.
Does GarageBand see it?

Thanks a lot Andrew for your post elsewhere - I have checked through the path you suggested: Library/Audio/Plugins/Components/Band-in-a-Box DAW AU Plugin.component - and you're right, it's not there! So when I installed BB 2019 Ultra+ Mac, the automatic installation of the Plugin failed - no wonder Logic Pro X doesn't 'see' the Plugin! Where do I go from here? Carl

Have a look in Applications/Band-in-a-Box/BBPlugin/Files
you can add that as a folder or copy the BB Plugin to your Plugins folder.

Andrew - The BB Plugin is not showing up in Logic Pro X. I checked all the paths and folders suggested by you and pipeline below, but I don't see the BIAB plugin component, and I don't see a BIAB plugins folder under Applications/BIAB
I have BIAB 2018 for Mac and Logic Pro X - is that my problem? (Note: My BIAB install was the BIAB external hard drive version but the hard drive failed this year, so I had to re-install from the digital downloads. Thanks for any guidance and help.

The BIAB VST/AU plugin was introduced in BIAB 2019, hence if you're still on BIAB 2018, you don't have it.
