A Cmin11 by definition includes the 9th. If you really need the chord without the 9, use a Cmin7 and sneak the 11 onto another track of the arrangement.
I find the reality of a complete Cm11 rather interesting. The 9 hardly makes any impact on the color of the chord at all - rather like a 5th being left out of a dominant 7th chord.
