Thank you Mario, Yes, I've tried that and it works, but I only get the melody in BIAB, not the chords. As I mentioned earlier, I was able to successfully import and save it directly from the abc file, which is the shortest work-around, but I like to have a standardized work-flow (I'm a fiddler and import a lot of tunes from EasyABC via xml) and I like to know why things don't work right when they should  I hear ya! Sometimes I will spend days trying to figure out why something that is suppose to work doesn't. Crazy isn't it?
