Wow, this is sensational. Al, you talk as though you just threw it together, but the finished result tells stories that much more had to be involved. You conducted 'the band' with masterful skill. 10 out of 10 for this one  Hello VT ... Thank you so much. But, really, just a little over three hours were spent on this recording. I don't even use a DAW, mixer, or mastering device. All my songs come straight off the chord input page. Now, I do a lot of massaging the song on the chord input sheet! From the chord input page, I send the song to Audacity and do a littler playing with it there. After that, I load it onto the SounCloud and link it from SoundCloud to the PG Music User's Forum and a few other online sites. That's the entire game!!! Anyway, thank you so much for the very kind words ... much appreciated. Alan

Wow. I was expecting something nice, but this really impressed me. From the first beat to the end, it just sound good. As blueadge said, "radio ready".

I think I'm a little late hearing your song. Very nice one and that sax is marvelous, as I also wrote on your SoundCloudpage.
You can picture yourself easely in a pub listening to the last song before closing...

three hours? Can hardly believe it.... This is just another very fine piece of music like you've written so many others. Very nice harmonic progressions, and the sax playing is of course just awesome. Al, I know that you are so modest, but you are a heck of a song-writer !!!!
Makes me sad to read thet Di still needs to have tests, so I hope that they brought sufficient insight to help her recover as much and as soon as possible.

Guten Abend mein sehr gut Fruend ... Thank you so much, Stefan! Yes, just a little more than three hours from first effort to posting it at Soundcloud. Sometimes, everything just falls into place. That's what happened here. And thank you for the song-writer complement. I sure do appreciate that! Di's daily trips to the hospital are actually a good thing, although they are very time-consuming. She has to get an infusion of a very, very strong antibiotic that takes about an hour. They have surgically inserted a port (like the one they gave me for my cancer chemo treatments) just below her right shoulder. But with the travel time to and from the hospital, the prep she goes through, and the after-infusion follow-up, it's about three hours total. The good news is ... she's getting stronger and in better health with each visit. Right now, she feels better than she has in 4 or 5 years. But the daily trips, including weekends, are very tiring for her. I go for a three-mile walk with her twice a day, almost every day. She rides a battery-powered scooter most of the way but walks the last 50 meters. That';s longer than she has walked in many years. So, as we say here in the States ... It's all good! But, as I've detailed to previous reviewers, I actually spent little more than three hours putting this together ... start to finish. My process is super simple ... chord input sheet, Audacity, save. That';s it. I do not use a DAW, unless you want to call Audacity a DAW, which I would not. As I said, it's a quick and simple process for me. But, I do a lot of work on the tracks on the chord input page. Anyway, I thank you very much for your kindness. Wishing you nothing but the best ... Just lovely Alan. That sax just flows and flows.
The arrangement and the instruments gives this a real "Late Night" feel.

My daughter and I are sitting here enjoying your composition. Tenor sax is one of the instruments she plays. She was really digging the sax solo.
