In all the years of using BIAB, I have never once used this feature. I cannot recall ever having seen it, either. (And I use notation mode and printing sheet music a lot.)
That's what I like about BIAB... there's always something new to learn to keep the brain alive Hopefully that will help keep dementia at bay!
Very cool. This does work for me on notation window but in trying to print leadsheet will not work if fakesheet checked. I need fakesheet since several choruses and a tag. (I need to check whole song to get the tag).
In the print options menu of fake sheet there is an option to define the number of bars per line. This works well for me. It might take a bit of trial and error to get the layout you want, but it's 'non-destructive' so if you get it wrong just try again.
I typically like the endings for each verse to start on a new line - easily done with this method.

Thanks for the graphic Trev. It's so much easier to see it than describe it. Since most of my songs have lyrics, I tend to make bars per line match the syllables, so a lot a syllables gets fewer bars. Combine that with the Golden Rule that no song goes more than 2 sides, managing the fake sheet can be quite complex.
